Rappin’ Magazine March 1990 Spike Lee Cover Mookie

Rappin MagazineMookie: Pino, fuck you, fuck your fuckin’ pizza, and fuck Frank Sinatra.

Pino: Yeah? Well fuck you, too, and fuck Michael Jackson.

Giant foldout poster of Mookie as shown on cover of this magazine. There is a Street Watch section sort of like the Source’s Unsigned Hype. This issue had Breeze, Shelby G, Def Duo, The Real Master Rhyme, and Everlast. Also a cool section of lyrics to 11 songs including: Big Ole Butt, Buffalo Stance, Express Yourself, Knowledge is King, Lethal Weapon, One Shot At Love, Push It, Rhythm, Smooth Operator, So Wat Cha Sayin’ and 2 Hype. Best part of this issue is the controversy that was brewing over N.W.A.’s new song Fuck The Police having retailers in a rage.
