Rap Masters Magazine Dec 1994 Top 100 Hits of the 90’s
So I was excited to crack this magazine open and get down to business on that Top 100 list until the first page when a three page fold out poster of R. Kelly and Aaliyah popped out. Everything about that poster is creepy. They are on a dry deserted area that a kidnapper would take a victim, Aaliyah (14) is wearing a Mickey Mouse sweater looking unhappy at the camera as Kelly is staring away in the background like he ain’t done shit. It gets worse when you read her answers to the interview inside talking about her first album being recorded in Chicago with Kelly. Article reads: But it wasn’t all work and no play. On their time off, the two would rent movies, grab a bite to eat, and even play cards. (what a great mentor!). Another standout cut is the title track, which is a song about passion between a young woman and an older man.
8 years later we come to find that this child molester also likes to urinate on his victims. Pretty sad, so I’ll just say a few words, a big fuck you to R Kelly and Aaliyah’s parents, and R.I.P. to Aaliyah.
