South West Bound Magazine #3 : Mistah F.A.B. & Turf Talk Cover

Kind of like XXL’s Freshman class, but the next to blow in the bay. Also includes Rick Moss, Smigg Dirtee, A-Wax, and Young Dru. Zion I also interviewed inside.

South West Bound Magazine #6 : Casual Cover

I’m pretty sure this is Casual’s first and only solo cover on a magazine. Earlier this year, I commented on the ugliest advertisement I had seen, one in this issue is a close second. Chil Will – All Frames of the Game. Google it. Great cover to this magazine but nothing much inside.

South West Bound Magazine #1 : Gemini Cover

Cover photo could have been shot better, but the choice of an underground artist like Gemini was cool. He’s like the Texas Fat Joe, has a similiar voice, but instead of leaning back, he’s talking about straps. (yeah that rhymed). I liked the Rick Rock article but the Turf Talk Q&A was filled with the same unoriginal questions.

South West Bound Magazine #5 : Smigg Dirtee Cover

Sacramento’s Smigg Dirtee graces the cover. Frontline article inside and Sway and Tech get a LRG ad.

Rating: 6.5/10

South West Bound Magazine #4 : DJ Warrior, Strong, Fingaz & More

Independent magazine in full color with West Coast Mixtape Kings on the cover. A lot of Bay area flavor in this issue with The Federation, Deebo, and a full two pages of all of Mac Dre’s albums. Last, there is a hot rapper named Crystal in lingerie on train tracks??
