The Bomb Magazine #41 : ACRO/CAS Cover

Article on The Evolution Of Hip Hop Music by Otis Moss III. Very interesting even though I do not agree with it. Good article on the Alkaholiks and King Tee.

The Bomb Magazine #31 : 8th Wonder Cover

Billy Jam has a section called “Thought’s While Takin A Shit” and yes there is a picture of “someone” doing just that. Interesting article on “what if rap music was for pure fun and not for money” Funny thing is that some of the stuff he talks about is how the industry is now with record labels dying. M.O.P. article.

The Bomb Magazine#38 : Acro/Cas Cover

Cover is a little messy, reminds me of the color by numbers pages. It is a better than average issue with interviews of two of my favorites, The B.U.M.S. and LOTUG Lords of the Underground.

The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine #34 : 8th Wonder Cover

Interesting that this issue comes with a comic book and a sticker as stated on the cover. The Comic is Crustified Dibbs (R.A. The Rugged Man) and includes a sticker “Crustified Dibbs w/Jive”.  Article on the Bay blowing up with artists like JT, Herm, C-Bo, GLP, and RBL Posse. Advertisement for Don Jagwarr, remember him from Ice Cubes song off of The Predator I think? Maybe he was the guy from Wicked? I’m just guessing off the top of my head but I think that’s right. The Main Ingredient album by Pete Rock & CL Smooth was given a good review.

The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine #13 November 1992 : Scape One Cover

This issue is a minty fresh issue of the Bomb with artwork by Scape One on the cover. The inside pages are pretty cool, not much meat to it except for a two page Q&A with MC REN. The thing I liked the most about this issue is that it came with stickers as advertised on the front cover. The funny thing is this would be the last issue with stickers… Here’s page 18 “Get Off Da Dick – Have you noticed that all these rap publications now have rap stickers included with them. I wonder who started that? THE BOMB Hip-Hop Magazine would like to announce that after this issue we will no longer insert stickers with the magazine. We’ll be moving on to better things while the others are stuck on “that sticker thing.” ….. That’s too bad, you gotta love the Mobb Deep sticker.

The Bomb Hip Hop Magazine #33 : Cokes Cover

Three page interview of the Artifacts and a rare Saafir advertisement for Boxcar Sessions is all you need to know. The rest is well put together.
