Word Up! Magazine : Fall Preview ’97 Cover

Issue is R&B heavy but still has information about the deaths of Biggie and Pac. Article on the Wu-Tangs upcoming double album Forever. Note: My issue is not complete, the first page is missing and that is the photo that should be popping out of the middle of the magazine in the circle, instead you got a piece of Shaq from “Steel”. Also missing probably the most crucial part of the magazine, BTNH poster.

Word Up! Magazine 1997 : Notorious B.I.G. Cover

A Word Up special tribute to Biggie. Huge amount of Biggie and anyone associated with him such as Tupac, Diddy, Junior Mafia. Funny that they put the two center photos next to each other are Faith and Lil Kim.

Word Up! Magazine September 1997 : 2Pac & Biggie Cover

Cover has a hologram that changes from Pac to Biggie. There are a bunch of very nice pullout posters in this issue: Biggie, Pac, Lil Kim, and Erykah Badu. After looking at some back issues, I realized I am missing a bunch of issues of Word Up!

Word Up! Magazine 1998 : Tupac & Biggie Hologram

“It was all a dream, I use to read Word Up magazine” well not really, it was kind of to simple, I felt like I was reading a tabloid magazine. But now that I have gone back and looked through them, I find that all the images bring back some great memories of that era. The main reason I like this issue is solely on the hologram on the top left corner. As you turn it, the image switches from Biggie to Pac.
