HHC Hip Hop Connection Magazine #3 : Fab 5 Freddy Cover
Can a cover be ugly and beautiful at the same time? The early layout on these issues is ugly but you got to love the people featured and the vintage year being covered. Fab 5 Freddy, Krs-One, and Ice-T. MC Duke was wearing LV clothing back in the day. Good article on the DMC West Coast DJ finals, and a must read article on Fab 5 Fredddy.

HHC Hip Hop Connection Magazine #51 : Eazy-E Cover
One of those covers with a gun, but a bit eerie with Eazy in a straight jacket. The more I look at this cover, the more I realize that HHC used this same photo but a close up in a later issue when he died. I could be wrong, have to check my stash. Article with Eazy is during the time period when he was feuding with Dre and was getting ready to release his album “Temporary Insanity”.

HHC Hip Hop Connection Magazine #35 : MC Ren Cover
MC Ren on the cover of a magazine is pretty rare by himself. UK version of Ice Cube’s Death Certificate is 2 tracks less without Black Korea and No Vaseline. Right in the middle of Cube going solo and Dre starting to show signs of leaving, there is a lot of insight in this issue regarding N.W.A. members.
