Vibe Magazine August 2001 Aaliyah

Vibe Magazine Aaliyah 2001This could have been one of the most iconic and sought after Vibe issues if they would have just put some thought into the cover. Instead they go with another illustration. This issue came out the same month she left us and if they would have used the picture of her from inside, it would have been perfect. Article on Pastor Troy is inside (underrated). Foxy Brown interview (when she was hot). Black Eyed Peas add (before the white girl). Funny Ad: T-Boz for Lawry’s Seasoned Salt?? Headline “T-Boz Confesses to late night run for favorite seasoning”

XXL Magazine #43 : Jay-Z Cover

Nice clean cover of Jay-Z. DMX’s advertisement is for his 5 album It’s Not A Game, which I believe got changed to Grand Champ, or maybe I’m mixed up. 50 Cent is covered right before he blew up. Once again, Pastor Troy is in a great photo shoot.

Murder Dog Magazine Vol.14 No.3 : Sick Wid It Records Cover

E-40 graces the cover with the Sick Wid It Records family which includes Turf Talk, Laroo, Coolnutz, Nump, and the original Click. Worst clothing line ever Ghetto Profitt Wear with shirts like Wus Poppin Blood and My Baby Mama Ain’t Shit lol! Once again, love the Technical Question? Ask Amp Live Section. Scott Bejda also does a good job with the article on Pator Troy, the picture of him is also great. Marcus Hanschen also takes a nice photo of Brotha Lynch Hung “hanging”.
